Xtracurricular Activities - RAGS game - 2011/02/21 10:53 This adult game is an interactive coming-of-age futuristic fantasy.

I've tried to upload the game to the AIF files section here, but I think it is too big, so am including file share links. Hope you enjoy it.

V1.8 Fixes/Changes
Only 0 or 1 characters in room during party game
Object taken after party game stays in inventory if player moves back to house exterior before Give action success
Give action on same object handles all conditions

Warnings:
Is not a transformation or mind control game.
Contains attempts at humor.
Is really big, 125+MB.

Hi Resolution Images: 350+ (Created by the author and the reason it is so darn big)

Game within a game (Follow the Sexy Secret on bonus day 7)

Known problems without a known solution:

After loading a saved game sometimes layered graphics for the room you are in are incomplete. This does not affect game play.
Music tracks pause momentarily when they loop.

Re:Xtracurricular Activities - RAGS game - 2011/02/22 14:36 I thought so. I had v 1.6 on my computer, and it kept telling me the file was corrupt. After blaming Megaupload and Rapidshare, I realized it was probably the wrong version.

For those out there who will need to upgrade, v1.7 and up will require an additional update of Microsoft .NET Framework to v4. This is kind-of included in the RAGS install, meaning that it is downloaded at install time. This in turn means your computer will need to be connected to the Internet. Not a big deal unless (like me) you run from a laptop that isn't connected all the time.

The .NET Framework took almost 5 minutes to install (after downloading). The RAGS 2.0.0.0? Less than 30 seconds. You gotta love Microsoft!

Oh yes, and the game loaded perfectly after that!

I have to load a new game, then load the saved game. This is my first RAGs games so I'm not sure if that's normal or not.

Secondly, I'm stuck on Day 4. Is there a help source (walkthrough etc.) somewhere?

What version of RAGS are you using? I played XA using version 2.0.0 without any problems, but I see RAGS is now up to version 2.2.0. I have heard tales of there being incompatibilities between versions.

Of course, after I posted this, I found the game thread over at Shark's and was able to get past the part that was giving me trouble.
