zblorb - 2011/01/24 13:32 I tried the game engines in the download section, but I cannot seem to open the .zblorb file. Which one is suppose to work it.

Thank you.

Re:zblorb - 2011/01/24 13:36 If I remember rightly, the games released using zblorb are Glulx, and you'll need an interpreter that handles that format. I've used Glulxe, but here are where you can find some others:

Re:zblorb - 2011/01/24 22:17 i tried the windows glulx, without success.... maybe i should try a slightly different one...

well i was just trying to run the Obedience game from the 2009 mini comp. It says it is a zblorb file. I have two different glulx programs, but they both say this isnt a glulx program. So that is where I stand at the moment.

Re:zblorb - 2011/01/25 04:51 Have you tried Windows Frotz (http://freespace.virgin.net/davidk.kinder/frotz.html)? That's what I used for z-code files (eg. *.z?, *.zlb, *.zblorb)

Windows Glulx handles *.ulx, *.blb, *.blorb, *.glb & *.gblorb

Re:zblorb - 2011/01/25 05:20 yes, that is what I needed. My security block the page you sent but I found it posted in another place. Thanks!

Re:zblorb - 2011/01/26 06:06 If you're running Windows (or Linux, for that matter), just use Gargoyle. http://ccxvii.net/gargoyle/
It runs pretty much everything, from Tads to Adrift to Inform. Easier than hunting down multiple programs.
