If you are new to AIF or IF in general, you may be wondering what exactly "Adult Interactive Fiction" (AIF) is? Adult Interactive Fiction is an interactive story where YOU the reader control the actions of the main character. The actions are performed by typing simple commands like: open door, walk through door, turn light on, search cabinet, etc, etc...When the computer gets these commands, the story displays the outcome of your actions. Of course, what put the "Adult" in Adult Interactive Fiction is that these games are usually written with sexual content. If this offends you, please leave now! AIFGames.com was created after a long absence of the AIF Portal and hopes to replace that as your source for AIF material. While I was working on the new theme and not paying attention for the last several days, a new game was released by Lucilla. It can be found in the files section under the TADS games. The following is from the "read me" file included with the game.

Many years ago (well, two) I foolishly offered a mini-game as a prize to the person to find the missing 50th point in the ADRIFT version of “British Fox and the Celebrity Abductions”. The competition was won by Xavier Hawke and his exceptionally thorough walk through and after a brief discussion with him he suggested the idea which (eventually) became “To Cage a Magpie”.

If you are a registered member, you can now choose your theme from a selection box on the left side menu. The new theme features a white background to make reading the news and forums easier. Thanks to those of you who have offered to assist with the design of the site. There may very well be additional themes to choose from in the near future.
